LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) — As the regular season winds down, it’s almost time to crown conference champions.
Friday night, top-ranked Bentonville hosts No. 7 Fort Smith Northside. The winner has the inside track in the Class 7A West.
Neither team has lost a game in league play. Bentonville (7-0, 4-0) has been a contender all season. Northside (6-1, 4-0) started the season unranked, but has been something of a surprise behind quarterback Dax Dupire.
Elsewhere in that same league, No. 9 Fort Smith Southside (5-2, 2-2) hosts No. 6 Springdale Har-Ber (6-1, 3-1).
